Wonderful experience at Shree Hari Niwas Katra

It was a wonderful experience staring at Hotel Shree Hari Niwas Katra. I was visiting Vaishno Devi Temple.Few things which made the stay wonderful was: 1.It is 5 minutes away from the helipad. 2.The staff is very cordial,very professional at the same time.I received a call from the GM 1 day before the booking date for check and confirm everything was in place. 3. I reached early morning at 5 and the cab was already waiting for me to be picked up.The drivers were very spontaneous and also guided me how to go about the Darshan.Driver was waiting before we arrived back and brought us back to the hotel. 3.Since we had to leave at 6:30am for the Darshan the restaurant was closed but the manager on Duty ensured to wake up the cook and prepare the delicious breakfast for us. 3.We had called up the restaurant on our way for the lunch as we were starving.The lunch was ready and we were very well served by the team. 4.I was travelling with SR.Citizens in my family and they loved the food as the food was delicious,homely and was served with lot of love.They ensured we do not miss the desserts. 5.My trip to Vaishno Devi was truly Divine and staying at Hotel Sree Hari Niwas was no less than a blessing. 6.The staff went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. 7.The rooms we were given had a beautiful view of the mountain. I highly recommend Hotel Shree Hari Niwas.I wish the management and the team all the best for all the endeavours Anchal Gurgaon.

Found dirty toilet seat after room service, GM insulted us instead!

We went for the sea facing premium rooms but the bedsheets and pillows were extremely dirtly. One of them had blots of blood stains on it. They got it replaced. But the next day we left for mandir giving the keys for cleaning and returned to see the toilet seat covered. The moment I opened the seat I saw red mess inside. We immediately called the manager and staff and said it was unacceptable and we need to talk to the GM. The GM came down later and started defending their staff. When we asked for compensation for our pathetic experience, the GM started saying we are being unreasonable and insensitive. He kept on defending his boys so I took out my phone and said I'm taking a video. And then began this GM Mr GC Nanda's atrocious behavior towards me. He pointed his fingers, raised his voice and came close to my face with impossible behavior. He insulted me, spoke to my husband cheaply and shouted at our mothers pointing fingers directly at our faces and treating us like culprits instead. He yelled at me and told me how dare I try to take his video and many sour words followed. Never in our lives have we ever been treated in this way. Then they said we are at Jaggannath dham, we cannot think of this as a vacation. So we should be considerate. This GM also said 'I'm aware what kind of intention you people have come with'. It's ludicrous how they have made the mistakes and have made us feel like we are the wrong doers! We did not accept any discount they were offering us as we have been humiliated enough. Especially I as a woman have never felt this insulted before. I was scared he might even raise his hands at me the way he charged forward. We were supposed to check out in the morning next day but their behavior made us checkout in the middle of the night itself. Before checking out, another manager said we have used items from their mini fridge which again was false! We refused to pay because there's a limit to harassment. Attached below is the way we found our pot after opening the toilet seat.

Worthless hotel

I booked this hotel @4500 but facilities I got it's not justified the price. I stayed in this hotel 4days. I booked a room front side but they allotted me back side. When I told them about my booking, thay say all rooms are full so we can't do anything. However I saw they allott my desired room to someone else who came after us. after 2 days they gave me a better room. During my stays I am sharing pros and cons of this hotel. Pros: - Hotel location Cons: - hotel staff behaviour - room allocation process - breakfast menu - complimentry toiletries - check out & check in timing Request to everyone please select your hotel wisely at this price this hotel is not justifiable. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone at this price.

Last week I visited puri and I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. In simple words our experience was horrendous, horrible, pathetic. If it is possible to give negative marks I should have given that. I never gave such bad reviews but this I was so angry disheartened with the behavior and everything else in this hotel so I have to use these harsh words. This gonna be a long review. The hotel is full of cheatres and full with rude behaving persons. 1st of all when we booked our room in the month of January we called up the hotel for rates and manager Mr. Durga Prasad assured us that booked from us directly then we will give you one of the best room of our hotel. They were charging 2k more bucks than online booking so when we asked he assured that if you book online we will give a bad room and of you book directly we will give best ones. So trusting his words we gave more money and book directly and but when we arrived at the hotel they gave us the worst possible room. And the particular person was not there when he came in the evening he said that my staff has done it and I will shift you to a better room after 2 days. OK that's the 1st story. Then come to managers oh my God the manager who were present in morning time Mr. Arun and Mr. Hari they thought of themselves as owners of the property they were so rude and so ill behave person I have ever witnessed. I have a 3 years old baby and we reached puri near around 4 am in ther morning and they gave us room aornd 9am which we didn't argue because of the hotel policy but that time when my little baby wants to use the elevator one of the manager rudely and in a very harsh tone said go by the stairs you have sands in your feet. I suggest them please learn some mannerisms and etiquette and then come to your job otherwise you will be kicked out very soon because no owner will tolerate this kind of arrogance and adamant behavior of yours. Then come to the rooms water was pippin out from ac pipe and we have to come mechanic each 5 hours and he came with a ladder and take out water manually this goes whole day long finally in the evening it got fixed. Next whatever you asked in the hotel they will say no I think they don't know to say yes. When we asked for room change they say no when in the breakfast buffet I asked for sabji with puri they gave me sambar and tell me to eat with it. When we asked for milk tea they say no have liquor tea. When even we asked for an egg boil for my child they say no and have bhurji. So No is their favorite worl. Every one is rude and mean. I request everyone to please avoid staying this hotel they are cheaters money mongers they ruined our trip completely and spoiled our mood from day one. I have never seen such worst persons in this hospitality field. When we Inida we always say Atithi deva bhaba but for this hotel they know nothing only they can fool you and cheat you. They gave importance to the people who scolded them was hurling abusive words then they behaved very sweetly with those guests but for soft spoken persons like us they will treat us like fools. So last I would request management to take action against Mr.arun and Mr. Hari they black spots on your hotel and a request to Mr Durga prasad though only he behaved well but not to fool people making fake promises. Make money by providing good service and not by fooling people .

Nice rooms and very pleasant stay. The staff had been very helpful throughout our stay. There was a problem with the shower in the bathroom. When reported, they immediately sent for a plumber to get it fixed. Repairs are understandable as long as the response in fixing it is good. The kitchen is open even during late nights and the food is excellent. Overall a very memorable stay
